My mom and I talked on the phone this morning. That was enjoyable. She informed me that they had *SNOW* yesterday. Oh goodness. I am definitely taking my winter coat with me when we go visit! I told her it was 80 degrees in my kitchen yesterday.
This photo (wherever it happens to be in the post) was taken around Christmas of 2006 at the Kukui Grove Shopping Center... they advertised their "real.snow" at the mall on the hour for fifteen minutes... Brady LOVED it. No, it wasn't real snow, but it sure looked like it. It was a bit incongruous (did I get that right?) to have "snow" and warm weather at the exact same time. I just love this photo. The carefree-ness and "wow" of childhood.
